Vegetarian health issues
Most vegetarian health issues are a result of not eating a variety of fruits, nuts, grains, vegetables and legumes
, which are high in fiber, in the right quantities. Vegetarians must ensure that they include foods daily that will provide the body with
essential nutrients and fiber.
.
Vegetarians must also eat healthy, they must be careful of
dairy products,
, fast food, junk food and sweets. For some of us it was easier to give up meat than our precious desserts. Look for healthy alternatives and or eat desserts sparingly, about once or twice a weak.
Eat more raw food, (i.e. salads) vegetables and whole grains. Raw salads, vegetables and fruit, and other foods with fiber keep the bowels moving, preventing constipation.
Constipation is said to be the main cause of sickness. The waste sits in the intestines and
toxins
build up in the system and needs to be eliminated. If you eat three meals a day you should have three bowel movements a day.
Other vegetarian health issues may be caused from a lack of water. We need to drink 8 to 10, 8 oz glasses of water each day. Or half our body weight in ounces. Water not only nourishes our bodies, but washes it out from the inside. It revitalizes us, so that we are not sluggish.
Many issues can be remedied just by increasing the intake of water.
