Becoming A Vegetarian Can Be Easy
Becoming a vegetarian can be easy or hard, depending on the person. If you read my story on how I became a vegetarian you know it was fairly easy for me.
My husband, however, is finding it hard to give up fish, simply because he loves eating it. Me, I can’t even stand the smell of fish anymore.
For those of you who may find it difficult to give up all that toxic, parasite filled, dye colored flesh of dead animals, (oops, sorry, shut up you said?) give it up in stages.
In order to be successful on a meatless diet you must also eat the right types of food.
The first thing to do is to make sure you include in your meals
God’s original diet.
The basics of a vegetarian diet are - eat a variety of fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and vegetables and your body should get all the
essential vegetarian nutrients
it needs.
Start by adding more vegetables, and fruits to your diet. Add raw salads to your meals. In fact we should eat salads first so that we eat less cooked food.
Second give up the unclean meats.
Pork
and shell fish for example are scavengers and were not created for us to eat.
Second give up red meats.
Give up chicken and turkey.
Finally give up fish.
The decision on becoming a vegetarian is also about having a healthier life, because many diseases are caused by meat eating.
Through all the stages pray and ask for divine help, for wisdom and that you may prosper and be healthy.
