The best diet for a vegetarian is the animal free food that God gave to Adam and Eve in The Garden of Eden
Animal free food was the original diet eaten by the human race. After God created Adam and Eve in his own image he placed them in the Garden of Eden, where all their dietary needs were supplied.
All Adam and Eve had to do was pick and eat.
The Bible states that God himself planted a garden in Eden and put man (male and female) in it. That God made every tree that was good for food (i.e animal free food) to grow in it.
God gave every seed bearing plant on the earth and every tree that had fruit with seed in it to be food for the human race. In modern language - fruits, grains, nuts, seeds and legumes, again animal free food.
Genesis 1:27 & 29, 2:8-9
God put all the living creatures that move around on the earth and the air on vegetarian diet plans.
Originally even the animals had a meatless diet. The animals were given every green herb (vegetables) for food. Genesis 1:30
Now after Adam and Eve sinned (Genesis 3) God cast them out of the Garden, and part of their punishment was that man would also eat animal food, the herb of the field (vegetables). Genesis 3: 17-18.
So before the flood(Genesis 6 – 8, 9: 1-3),
God had planned that man and animals both partake of animal free food.
Therefore the best diet for a vegetarian includes only fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and vegetables.
